Geometry Dash is fundamentally the same gameplay concept that made the original Geometry Dash a hit: players control a geometric icon that goes automatically over a level loaded with lethal obstacles. To leap, fly, or flip gravity in time with the music, the player must tap the screen at the proper moment. Key is precision timing; one incorrect action throws the player back to the level’s beginning. Normal mode does not have checks, hence the challenge can be tough. Before doing a complete run, though, players can familiarise themselves with the level layout using a Practice Mode.
